Dr. Jerree Forbes, Ed.D.

 

Dr. Forbes holds a Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University’s Fischler School of Education. He works in private consultation offering services that enhance cognitive abilities to improve learning, memory, focus, attention, organization of thought, speed of thought and other executive functions among other areas. In particular, he offers learning improvement services to those desiring an improved level of cognitive performance.

 

Dr. Forbes often works collaboratively with an integrated team to improve cognitive performance outcomes through individualized programs of learning, training and coaching targeted at specific areas of cognitive performance. He also concentrates on services for graduate students and those working in high performance reliability environments and professional services.

 

He is active in health care system innovation and improvement through roles in leadership, education and health care system development. Since 1987, he has provided organizational leadership in health care, crafted organizational alliances for improved integrated services and provided executive leadership in emergency medicine and primary care.

 

He has held collegiate and university faculty positions for more than 30 years, presented a variety of professional education programs and contributed to publications on health care, technology, learning and education. He is the past Chair of Health Programs at Central Christian College and graduate adjunct faculty at Friends University where he teaches health care leadership, health care law and ethics, and decision making and risk management in the Master of Healthcare Leadership Program. He is a contributor to Trends in Technology and has authored numerous grants in education and health care. He has been recognized as a Master Presenter by the National Institute of Staff and Organizational Development.  He serves on The Kansas Major Emergency Response Group and has received the Kansas Governor’s Award for Innovative Technologies in Education.  

 

His research interests include cognitive engineering, connections of mind, brain and education, assessment of cognition, simulation and contextual learning, trends in human interface with technology, instructional technology, systems thinking, decision making and cognitive skill development especially in areas of memory and attention. Special interests include servant leadership, business development, emergency medicine, non-profit organizations, physician relationships and Christ-centered service to others.

 

 

 Dr. Forbes is located on the Wesley Towers Campus at 910 Coronado Drive in Hutchinson where he provides private consultation and learning services to improve cognitive performance.
