Q. If I live in a duplex, patio home, heritage home, or apartment, what activities can I take part in on the Wesley Towers campus?
A. Anything that goes on in the Towers from morning exercise class to literary luncheons to day trips.

Q. Do you provide transportation to any cultural events?
A. YES! We provide transportation to the Hutchinson Symphony, Community Concerts, programs at the Fox Theatre, and much more. Even if residents have their own vehicle, they are welcome to go on our bus. Residents pay for their own ticket.

Q. What if I need help at night?
A. Someone in maintenance is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If it is a health issue, all calls between 10:00pm and 7:00am go to the Thorne Care Center nurses desk and a nurse from there will respond.

Q. What if I need to run to the grocery store?
A. You may sign up to go with the volunteer drivers. Scheduled transportaton is available Wednesday through Friday on a first come, first serve basis. Our activities department also has scheduled transportation to the Hutchinson Mall and 30th street stores.

Q. What if I just need some eggs, a loaf of bread, or Kleenexes.
A. Our Wes Shop stocks the above items as well as much, much more. Frozen dinners, milk, juice, sandwiches, snacks, cleaning soaps, cards are just a few examples of items available. You may also purchase items through the kitchen such as meat, soups or salads.

Q. What if I need help with bathing or someone to set up my medications?
A. Wesley Towers licensed home health department can assist you. Our team of registered nurses and home health aides offer many services to those living in the independent and congregate areas. Our goal is to keep residents in the most independent living area as long as it is safe for them.

Q. Do you have any type of emergency call systems in independent and congregate living?
A. For a monthly charge, all duplex, patio home, and heritage home residents may have an emergency pendant installed in their home. This is a necklace worn around their neck. If help is needed, they push the pendant and Wesley Towers' staff will respond.
For residents in the Towers, Manor, or Asbury Apartments, an emergency pendant is issued to them when they move into their apartment. If help is needed, they push their pendant and Wesley Towers' staff will respond.

Q. If I feel under the weather, may meals be brought to my apartment, duplex, patio home, or heritage home?
A. Yes. For residents in the duplexes, patio homes, and Asbury Apartments, you will pay for the meal plus a $4.00 delivery charge. For residents in the Towers and Wesley Manor, residents will pay a $2.00 delivery charge.
